Connecting a bank account to Pay Bills is simple and you can connect as many accounts as you want. This takes a few minutes and you’ll only need to do it once.
There are two ways to add a bank account automatically:
Add your bank account when making a payment
- When adding a bill, making a payment for a saved bill or without a bill.
- Choose ACH bank transfer when asked how you want to pay.
3. When asked to connect your bank account, choose Connect account instantly.
4. Click Continue to allow Melio, our accounts payable partner, to link your bank via Plaid.
5. Choose your bank from the list. We’re connected to the top 100 banks in the U.S.
NOTE: Can’t find your bank?
You’ll need to manually connect your account.
6. Click Continue to login.
7. Enter your bank account’s credentials to complete the process.
That’s it! Your bank account is now connected and you can start making payments. Click Done.
Add a bank account in settings
1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Payment methods.
3. In the Bank account section, click Add method.
4. When asked to connect your bank account, choose Connect account instantly.
5. Click Continue to allow Melio, our accounts payable partner, to link your bank via Plaid.
6. Choose your bank from the list. We’re connected to the top 100 banks in the U.S.
NOTE: Can’t find your bank?
You’ll need to manually connect your account.
7. Click Continue to login.
8. Enter your bank account’s credentials to complete the process.
That’s it! Your bank account is now connected and you can start making payments. Click Done.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Originator ID codes
Pay Bills is powered by our partner Melio. Make sure to allow Melio to debit your account by adding it to your bank account’s allowlist as an authorized debtor. Provide your bank with Melio’s originator ID codes before making payments through Pay Bills. You’ll only need to do this once.
